"Young entrepreneur says sky’s the limit on Internet" - Page 1

Will G. Louden - Fayetteville, Arkansas (Little Rock, AR Native)
The company's name: PizzaNet.NET Inc., a Virtual GraphX affiliate
The company's location: (no longer operating pizzanet.net)

Special Note: PizzaNet.NET, Inc. was a "closely held" Virtual GraphX, Inc.  subsidiary 'affiliate' company. This article marks the height of the preliminary successes of Virtual GraphX, Inc. While the subsidiary firm PizzaNet.NET, Inc. is no longer operating, and closed, the original parent company Virtual GraphX, Inc. remains a viable enterprise, and continues to operate to this date. Virtual GraphX, Inc. no longer operates any of the PizzaNet.NET enterprises.

Your position/title in the company: Founder, chairman and chief executive

What the company does: PizzaNet, a closely affiliated Virtual GraphX company, develops and maintains Internet-based marketing solutions, advertising services and online ordering systems. In addition, we develop and implement traditional print-based publications such as buyers' guides, catalogs and coupons. As a "tech savvy" Internet company, Virtual GraphX seeks to capitalize on the success of online retailing by taking advantage of the limitless scope of products and services currently being marketed and transacted via the World Wide Web.

What you do for the company: Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations. My job duties include - but are never limited to! - developing and maintaining client relationships, front-end and back-end systems management, as well as managing an extensive set of publishing Operations. I manage several employee-related development projects, new technologies and well as board- and shareholder-related issues. The bottom line is where my job counts the most. My job as chairman and chief executive requires me to spot and correct potential problems on the fly, design and develop strong client relationships, concept models, system product lines, and employee/staff culture while maintaining an aggressive and continuous growth process.

Q. How long have you had this position?

A: I have been the vice chairman, president and CEO of Virtual GraphX since the company's inception in June of 1997 - June 10, 1997, to be exact! On Jan. 27, I was promoted to chairman of the board of Virtual GraphX. Recently, I have been challenged to fully staff and capitalize our PizzaNet group-parenting company and our PizzaNet NWA spin-off.

Q: How did you find out about this position?

A: Well, it was not by accident! I have had a strong passion for computers, business and people for as long as I can remember. The opportunity presented itself to enter the rapidly changing Internet industry over three years ago. I have enjoyed the help of bankers, retailers, business leaders, professionals and civic and prominent political figures, for which I am eternally grateful.

Q. Does your work require any special training or education? What was your background prior to this?

A: Yes! Managing and forging new relationships in a startup operation requires extensive knowledge of business.

Prior to moving to Fayetteville and attending the University of Arkansas, I spent a portion of my weekdays after school and weekends attending to and helping my parents manage and maintain many family businesses. I must say that it was there that I learned the basics concerning business and client relationships.
