Wow, I learned a lot! The "EE" department really challenged me and allowed me to learn a great deal. Two years into my electrical engineering endeavors, I decided to focus more on computers, so I switched to the department of computer-systems engineering for another year. Then, on a whim, I wanted to get back to my business roots, so I decided to switch to the department of computer information systems within the Sam M. Walton College of Business Administration.
International, "the world's largest Pizza Hut franchisee", Pizza Hut, ADT and Harps Food Stores. All along the way while enrolled at the University of Arkansas, I always participated in student government, as well as student and faculty administration organizations. I was always busy doing something - like now! All of my present business and community involvements were strengthened through leadership development roles at the University of Arkansas. Q: Was this a career change for you? If yes, what prompted you to make the change?
primary responsibilities are still with Virtual GraphX. Once the tentative spin-off reaches a smooth transition, then my job is to oversee the operations from a management standpoint. I will then return to the helm of Virtual GraphX full time, where my primary job responsibilities will include companywide system sales and developing new and innovative printed and technical products.
Q: Any advice to job-seekers looking for similar employment? Was there anything in particular that helped you getting into this line of work? A: Yes! We are actively seeking a few good people. Our firm is on the verge of exploding, and we will need aggressive, creative, talented individuals who desire change, massive opportunities and potential stock options in a "dot com" company.
many mentors provided the exact parable I needed to understand the opportunity and get moving. Then, when all is said and done, always, I mean always, maintain strong family ties. They usually won't sue, fire or avoid you when the going gets tough! Q: What do you enjoy generally or specifically about this line of work?
