"Young entrepreneur says sky’s the limit on Internet" - Page 2

Special Note: PizzaNet.NET, Inc. was a "closely held" Virtual GraphX, Inc.  subsidiary 'affiliate' company. This article marks the height of the preliminary successes of Virtual GraphX, Inc. While the subsidiary firm PizzaNet.NET, Inc. is no longer operating, and closed, the original parent company Virtual GraphX, Inc. remains a viable enterprise, and continues to operate to this date. Virtual GraphX, Inc. no longer operates any of the PizzaNet.NET enterprises.

When it was time for me to go off to college, I honed in on my strong desire to know more about computers and technical systems (and) selected the University of Arkansas electrical engineering program.

Wow, I learned a lot! The "EE" department really challenged me and allowed me to learn a great deal.

Two years into my electrical engineering endeavors, I decided to focus more on computers, so I switched to the department of computer-systems engineering for another year. Then, on a whim, I wanted to get back to my business roots, so I decided to switch to the department of computer information systems within the Sam M. Walton College of Business Administration.

By this time, my second company Virtual GraphX, had begun to show strong potential and take on a life of its own. We were forging very interesting relationships with major industry players like NPC

International, "the world's largest Pizza Hut franchisee", Pizza Hut, ADT and Harps Food Stores.

All along the way while enrolled at the University of Arkansas, I always participated in student government, as well as student and faculty administration organizations. I was always busy doing something - like now! All of my present business and community involvements were strengthened through leadership development roles at the University of Arkansas.

Q: Was this a career change for you? If yes, what prompted you to make the change?

Live Soon: LoudenLiving.com™, a VGIS™ NEXT Generation System.

A: Well, not necessarily. Running PizzaNet and Virtual GraphX are all part of my long-term plans. I am just in the process of establishing a complete spin-off with staff, clients and capitalization. My main focus and

primary responsibilities are still with Virtual GraphX. Once the tentative spin-off reaches a smooth transition, then my job is to oversee the operations from a management standpoint. I will then return to the helm of Virtual GraphX full time, where my primary job responsibilities will include companywide system sales and developing new and innovative printed and technical products.

Q: How does this fit into your long-term career goals?

A: I'm excited because we are on the fast track to success! The plan is becoming clear and more viable, the contacts are ready to jell, and everything is moving in a positive direction. A few of my long-term goals include helping others achieve success, be it through gainful employment and/or innovative research scholarships and fellowships. I intend to do my part in returning opportunity to the communities which so graciously granted it to us. At this point, the sky is the limit!

Q: Any advice to job-seekers looking for similar employment? Was there anything in particular that helped you getting into this line of work?

A: Yes! We are actively seeking a few good people. Our firm is on the verge of exploding, and we will need aggressive, creative, talented individuals who desire change, massive opportunities and potential stock options in a "dot com" company.

But as far as advice, I must say that you can't be afraid of hard work or rejection. Second, I would suggest a battery of mentors. There have been times that I simply could not take any more, and one of my

many mentors provided the exact parable I needed to understand the opportunity and get moving. Then, when all is said and done, always, I mean always, maintain strong family ties. They usually won't sue, fire or avoid you when the going gets tough!

Q: What do you enjoy generally or specifically about this line of work?

A: I really enjoy meeting and greeting people. My endeavors have literally allowed me to experience many people from many walks of life and diverse backgrounds. I have learned the ins and outs of many

businesses; I have been afforded the chance to enjoy many of life’s most select opportunities. And through it all, I have learned a great deal.
